Experience SONAR 6 on Windows Vista - Coming 2007
Microsoft is sponsoring the Fast Forward >> SONAR 6 Tour to spread the word that SONAR 6 will be ready for Windows Vista, coming in 2007. We have been running periodic compatibility tests with Windows Vista beta and release candidate builds, and we are happy to report that in all of our testing, SONAR performs very well under this new operating system with no notable compatibility issues. Additionally unlike Windows XP X64, Windows Vista 64 bit edition now has full codec support, so SONAR X64 will work better than ever in Vista. Shortly after the release of Vista, Cakewalk will issue an update to SONAR further enhancing our support for this operating system, and allowing musicians to take advantage of the advanced functionality being offered by Vista.
