Single Released On Memory Stick

Keen on downloads or Keane on a memory stick?      20/10/06

Single Released On Memory Stick

British band Keane are to release their next single, Nothing In My Way, on a memory stick – a first for a brand new format for music delivery. The music as well as videos and screensavers can be transferred directly from the memory stick to a computer.
Record company, Island, view the single as a bit of an experiment to see whether the new format is viable but don’t see it as a serious competitor to digital downloads. It should however get music fans (or Keane fans, at least) back into the shops or...to be more precise, into HMV who are the exclusive stockists. Pricing and Availability:
£3.99 GBP on sale exclusively in HMV stores from October 30
