This may only be of interest to anyone who lives in Sweden, but Propellerhead Software has announced the advent of the Producers Seminar, an evening full of creative clinics and interactive classes for computer musicians on Reason. They say that the Producers Seminar is the one stop opportunity to get the inside track on advanced production techniques, song writing, mixing methods and more.
Thursday, November 9th, 2006 from 18.00 to 22.00 at Karlbergsvaegen 77, Stockholm.
In partnership with distribution partner Luthman Scandinavia and Studio Magazine the Producer Seminars feature lectures and workshops with Propellerhead’s favorite Reason specialists, producers and songwriters.
James Bernard is Propellerhead product specialist at large and renowned producer and performer. He offers precious insights, tips and tricks with Reason that will make the difference for every user of Reason.
Kurt Kurasaki is the author of the book Power Tools for Reason 3.0. He introduces Reason’s endless tweaking capabilities. His session focuses on the Combinator device and involves advanced modulation routing techniques, advanced signal processing and advanced programming techniques.
Workshops
The workshop part of the conference is for the musicians who bring their laptops and are looking for the final creative boost and the urge to learn from production pros how to turn musical ideas into a professional, finished production.
Production workshop with Andreas Tilliander
Andreas Tilliander is one of Sweden’s most famous electronica artists. With tons of releases and a couple of awards too, he certainly has come a long way. This workshop is the chance to get hands-on production tips from the man himself.
Production workshop with Machopsycho
Machopsycho is the producer/songwriter duo behind monster hits for artists such as Pink, Dirtie Blond and Jessica Simpson. Getting tips on how to turn songs into hits from these guys is an outstanding opportunity.
