New York based Puremagnetik offers a sound content subscription service, publishing monthly ‘Micropacks’ for musicians, producers and DJs. Their December releases have just been announced; FM Juice and String Machines Vol. 1.

Here’s what they say…

“FM Juice is a collection of new presets for Native Instruments' FM8 and Ableton's Operator. Developed exclusively by NI and Ableton sound designer Micah Frank, FM Juice is a comprehensive add-on to existing FM8 and Operator libraries. 60 new racks for Operator utilize an array of Ableton Live's newest features, while the 58 FM8 presets employ generous effects and arpeggiated programs.

Users looking for a purely analog fix will certainly enjoy String Machines Vol. 1. Sampled directly from the classic "stringers" of the '70s and '80s, String Machines Vol. 1 contains over 500MB of vintage string patches programmed specifically for Sampler, Kontakt and EXS. The palette of sounds includes strings from: Roland RS-09, Roland Paraphonic 505, ARP Omni II, Oberheim Matrix-6, Crumar Orchestrator and Korg Lambda.
