Cakewalk has announced special ‘crossgrade’ pricing on Sonar 6.
Cakewalk tell us that this discount has been introduced after receiving a surge of requests for special pricing on Sonar 6 from Cubase customers and users of other DAW solutions. Ooh! Sounds like fighting talk to us...we wonder what Steinberg will have to say...
Crossgrading customers can now purchase Sonar 6 Producer Edition for $399 US (€399); or Sonar 6 Studio Edition for $199 U.S. (€199). This offer will be available at select dealers worldwide and also directly from the Cakewalk Web Store. See Pricing and Availability below for details.
Cakewalk will honor crossgrade pricing for all Cubase and Nuendo customers from all versions of Steinberg programs, including Cubase LE, SL, SX, and older Cubase titles on all platforms. In addition, owners of Ableton Live; Apple Logic; Magix Samplitude; MOTU Digital Performer; Pro Tools LE, M-Powered, and |HD; SONY ACID Pro and Vegas will be also able to take advantage of this special pricing.
Customers will only need to complete a simple form to verify ownership of a competing product in order to be eligible.
