IK Multimedia have announced that a download for the new Miroslav Philharmonik 1.1 is now available, providing compatibility for IK registered users with Mac Intel Systems. Miroslav Philharmonik users may download this software update for free and will no longer require a USB iKey or dongle.
In addition to Mac Intel compatibility and dongle-free operation, Miroslav Philharmonik sounds can now be opened from the current version of SampleTank. There are several other enhancements that have been implemented into Miroslav Philharmonik 1.1:
  • Standalone version included
  • Improved load time when loading instruments
  • Improved MIDI CC realtime performance
  • Improved search function reliability
  • Improved Audio Units multichannel support
A new free demo of Miroslav Philharmonik 1.1 is also available. The demo is fully functional for a grace period of ten days.
Also, as part of IK's 10th Anniversary Promotion, current Miroslav Philharmonik owners can buy any IK product at a special upgrade/crossgrade price from December 1, 2006 until January 31, 2007. They will also be eligible to receive a free T-RackS 24 standalone mastering station (a $199 value) if the purchase is $200 / €150 or more.
