Anybody who uses Yellow Tools Independence may be glad to know that there is now a free utility for registered Independence owners that converts Akai S-1000/3000 CD's and SoundFonts into Independence for use in this new sampler.

Yellow tools have cooperated with Chicken System (USA) to release the free Independence Convertor applications. Based on proven Translator technology, they say that Independence Convertor opens up wide your access to any sound you want. The Independence Convertor versions are available for Mac OS X (Universal Binary) and Windows XP.
