WNAMM07: McDSP ML4000 Impressive Limiting

Poor Colin McDowell (head honcho of McDSP Signal Processing), all the noise and the enthusiastic way in which he talks having done for his vocal chords made him quite hoarse, still he managed to pluck up the vocal energy to give us the lowdown on the ML4000 multiband mastering limiter. Available for TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite it’s got a powerful set of dynamic tools that will make light of pretty much any dynamics. He showed us the way in which it handled a wildly differing vocal with absolutely no audible artifacts – at least I can't hear any. So it you are a ProTools (full, LE or M-Powered) user – it’s got to be worth downloading the demo and see if it does the same for you.
