Spectrasonics have announced that they have has released a free support update for their Stylus RMX Realtime Groove Module on the Intel Mac platform. The new 1.6. version supports all Mac OSX Universal Binary VST, Audio Unit and RTAS hosts, including Logic Pro 7.2, Digital Performer 5.1, Cubase 4, Garageband 3, Ableton Live 6 and Pro Tools 7.1.1 or higher.
The Atmosphere and Trilogy synth and bass modules will get Intel Mac compatibility updates later in the year. Spectrasonics tell us that it's taking more time for Atmosphere and Trilogy to make the transition to the Intel Mac world because they use use a special version of the UVI engine rather than the in-house developed S.A.G.E. technology of Stylus RMX.
