SoundsExp07: Sonic State Go To Sounds Expo

We've just got back from the Sounds Expo show in London and can say that although the show is not on the vast scale of NAMM and the Frankfurt Messe there's still plenty for the high-tech music fan to see.
Most of the new products on show were ones that were launched at Winter NAMM but getting a UK and European showing for the first time. However, there were a couple of surprises notably from Yamaha who were showing a prototype of something quite different from anything we had seen before (video to follow soon...) and from Digidesign who announced the new 003 family but hadn't yet got eithe unit on display (shame! we'd have loved to bring you the first video showing). As it was we shot a few vids of various items and will be putting them online over the next few days.
Sonic State award for best looking stand has to go to Yamaha's minimalist bright yellow concoction with just a pair of Mini Mo synths and the lovely pair pictured above.
