This year sees the anniversary of a special event being celebrated at Beyer Dynamic, as the M 160 ribbon microphone reaches its 50th birthday. The manufacturing process of this high-quality product has scarcely changed since it was first produced in 1957.
To celebrate this milestone birthday, beyerdynamic is releasing 200 limited special edition M 160 microphones worldwide in the original chrome-plated housing. A further 50 will be offered together with an M 130 as M/S stereo sets.
