Propellerhead Software have announced that the latest version of Reason will be available worldwide in retail stores, online and through Propellerhead's online store, the PropShop, on September 26th, 2007. Existing users of any previous version of Reason may also purchase upgrades to version 4 through these same outlets.
Reason version 4 features Thor, a brand new Polysonic Synthesizer; RPG-8, arpeggiator; ReGroove, real-time groove mixer; and a newly designed sequencer with numerous workflow enhancements. Propellerhead describe Reason as the successful complete Music Production Instrument for Mac OS and Windows, a virtual software studio rack with all the tools and instruments to turn ideas into music.
Pricing and Availability:
Pricing on Reason version 4 will remain the same: MSRP is EUR 449 / USD $499.
Upgrades from any prior registered version of Reason are MSRP EUR 99 / USD $129. More information:

    Hmmmm... the USD price is almost 20% lower than the EUR price with the current currency exchange rates.

    Don't buy it form Propellerhead website, try the online stores, it's cheaper. In an italian store it costs 399 euros, it's not convenient buying stuff directly from the developers store, it's the same also for ikmultimedia stuff.

    and if you're form USA go to Sam Ash or Guitar Center, or Sweetwater, you can get it cheaper and without any shipping cost, never buy from the developers website, you pay more of the real price.
