Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 PCI Express Card

Sonnet Tango Express 800 delivers      03/10/07

Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 PCI Express Card

Sonnet’s latest PCI Express card can add two FireWire 800 and two USB 2.0 ports to your Mac (10.4.10 or later) or PC (XP SP2 /Vista) so you can take advantage of some of the FW800 equipped peripherals out there - well I can only think of a couple of HD makers that do em, but nonetheless should you need those extra ports...
The Tango Express 800 offers these features:
  • Simple way to add more high-speed FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 ports to any compatible computer
  • Provides fast interface to download videos from your digital camcorder, transfer files to external drives, and more
  • Easy installation—plug and play—no drivers to install
  • Backward-compatible with all FireWire 400(1) and USB 2.0 devices
  • Supports hot-swappable device connection—plug in and disconnect peripherals without shutting off your computer
  • Supports Macintosh FireWire Target Disk Mode
$129 list.
