Following on from their percussion set which we featured recently, Inspiration sounds has released two new sample collections in their Funked Up series – Funked Up Bass Guitars and Funked Up Horns. Here’s the details in their own words…

Funked Up Bass Guitars
Funked Up Bass Guitars Downloadable Sample Pack features 640 of the Funkiest Bass Loops ever recorded. Performed exclusively by one of the UK's finest bass guitarists. Essential for producing any style of music.

• Contents: 240MB Sample Pack (Compressed into a .Zip File). Includes both 1963 Fender Precision Bass loops and 5-String Bass Loops.
  
• The Recording Process: Like all of the other “Funked Upâ€� Sample Packs, Bass Guitars was recorded and produced in a state-of-the-art studio using Pro Tools HD (TDM) and the legendary Focusrite Control 24 Mixing Desk. All of the loops have been left dry without effects to give producers maximum flexibility. Initially recorded at 96 KHz 24-bit resolution then dithered down to 16-Bit 44.1 KHz to ensure compatibility with older software and keyboard samplers.

Funked Up Horns
Funked Up Horns features 120 Horn (Saxophone and Trumpet section) Riffs performed exclusively by one of the UK's leading Trumpet players (Glastonbury, Hyde Park, Top of the Pops, MTV) and a world class Saxophonist. Essential for producing any style of music.

• Contents: 47MB Downloadable Sample Pack (Compressed into a .ZIP File) featuring 120 riffs in .WAV format. Includes riffs in these Keys: A, B, C, D, E, F & G.
