If anyone’s ripe for an Apple buyout, it’s got to be Audio Ease’s Snapper – the do-it-all audio utility from the makers of Altiverb that simplifies a whole bunch of multi-step audio processes from right there in the OS X finder. Convert to MP3, split, mono, multi-channel, waveform view, clip a section to a new audio file, even place selection at ProTools cursor point. All right there. Looks like a must-have and it’s only $79. Check out Arjen's stunt demo from the NAMM show floor (or at least several feet off it).
