Boss have unveiled the SL-20 Slicer which they say lets you instantly transform a guitar, bass, keyboard, or vocal into a pulsating groove instrument.
You can choose from 50 onboard Slice patterns or experiment with the SL-20's innovative Harmonic Slicer feature, which generates percussive melodies, Loop Record, and unique 3D Panning.

  • 50 Slice patterns onboard, with adjustable note attack and duration, including Harmonic Slice
  • Tap Tempo via onboard pedal switch; internal and MIDI sync

    I can see a lot of uses for this on more than just guitar! I wonder if you have more than just midi clock control through the midi in? Like midi triggering in some way?
