Fairlight Demos In UK

Twice BAFTA award winning sound designer, Cliff Jones, will demonstrate the power and versatility of Fairlight technology at a series of events taking place throughout the UK in May and June 2008.
Hosted by Fairlight's UK distributor Tekcare, the road show begins on May 29 at Pinewood Studios and will then visit a number of different cities including Birmingham, London and Leeds.
Jones, who is currently working on a major project for the Discovery Channel will use examples of his own work to showcase the Xynergi desktop Media Production Centre. This powerful system delivers the tools needed for high-end audio for video production in all widely used surround sound formats. Targeted at all post-production professionals, Xynergi harness the 'Dream' processing power of Fairlight's CC-1 digital media engine and incorporates PyxisTrack video to create a completely integrated production environment.
Cliff Jones had this to say, "My latest project has involved transferring files between post -facilities on three continents. Fairlight technology has made the entire process seamless and created a new way of working that is fast, flexible and extremely efficient".
Cliff Jones and the Tekcare team will be available between 3.30-9.00 at each venue. The events are open to post production professionals, studio managers, press and students. Anyone interested in attending any of the events listed should contact Tekcare and book an appointment - 01707 620090 or email to info@tekcare.co.uk.
