Elastic be-gone with new light-weight mic mounting system 27-May-08
Rycote have launched a new mic suspension kit that gets rid of the elastic stuff you usually find in mic mounting systems. Designed to be used indoors or in low wind external situations, they use a new hi tech plastic that is extremely flexable but retains its shape memory well. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to mount mics of all kinds and allowing for room a wind guard too.
