LIMS08: Baskey Rug Lugs Stop the Drums From Moving

One from the cavernous and incredibly noisy Drum Hall at the London International Music Show, this – where we managed to find a few seconds of relative silence to check out this rather nifty drum positioning system. The Baskey system screws into your drum carpet (they also supply a zip-up baggable rug) so you can:
A)Stop your bassdrum and hihat stand from moving about whilst you beat on them
B)Set up your kit the same way each time without having to fiddle around with for an eternity

We think this is a good thing - hands up who’s spent ages waiting for the drummer to finish pratting about with microscopic stand movements before you can start the soundcheck? I rest my case...
