Numark has announced the introduction of a universal turntable dustcover, DUST COVER. DUST COVER is designed specifically for Numark turntables, and as a result, say Numark, provides a custom-tailored fit and classy appearance with sleek lines and a slight ultraviolet tint. Far from being a simple cosmetic accessory, DUST COVER is a crucial component of any serious turntablist’s arsenal of equipment, protecting both turntables and vinyl records as they are played.
There have been more than one million Numark turntables sold to date, for which DUST COVER is a perfect fit. Models include TTUSB, TTi, TTX, TTXUSB, TT500, TT200, TT1650, TT1625, TT1610, TT1600 and TT1550. DUST COVER has a specially designed cutaway for the tone-arm counterweight so that records can play unobstructed, edge to center, with the dustcover in place. Strategically located rubber feet ensure that DUST COVER can be placed on a working turntable, minimizing noise and functioning as a diffraction eliminator so that vibrations from the turntable are not retransmitted through the dustcover. DUST COVER was designed with durability in mind, and is constructed of shatter and scratch-resistant polycarbonate.
Key features of DUST COVER include:
  • Universal design fits many Numark turntable models
  • Robust polycarbonate construction
  • Shatter and scratch-resistant
  • Tone arm counterweight cutaway permits playback with dustcover in place
  • Strategically located rubber feet minimize noise and eliminate diffraction
Pricing and Availability:
DUST COVER is due at retailers in Q3-2008 and will also be available for purchase directly from the Numark website.
