Here's what MUTEC have to say about it...
Due to the good business relationship between Roland Germany and MUTEC, technicians of Roland agreed to test the MUTEC 1GB SDRAM memory module with the corresponding devices in their studios. Wow! A whole Gig of sample memory now? Jeez, and me stuck with that paltry 40 gig drive on my Alesis Fusion, plus the VA, PM, and FM engines. How will I live?

I feel your pain MPS, I only have 80 gig on mine!

To be fair though, this is sample memory, the most a Fusion can handle is 384 meg.
