SPL tell us that their new Cabulator is a unique combination of variable power soak, speaker cabinet simulator and D. I. box. A spokesperson had this to say, "Perfectly suited for all live and studio applications, the guitarist can always and everywhere play a fully torqued amp without necessarily being loud, authentically simulate a cabinet sound, directly record to a DAW or rely on a hum-free connection for the live mix – providing recording signal quality."
