These things clip together with magnets you know. I like that. I also like the lightweight, well thought out and integrated way which this SCS system works. The new SCS.3m sort of completes the picture – the SCS.3d, which we saw at NAMM was a cornucopia of DJ controlling love on the deck side and the 3m takes care of the mixer part. I couldn't help but feel a little left out as I don't DJ myself, but would love to get my hands on some of this stuff and integrate it into an electronic music production system. Anyhow, the SCS.3d adds a mixer style palette of controls for fades, gain, EQ effects and all that stuff. Combined with a couple of SCS.3ds and you have a pretty tasty little system when hooked up to Traktor Pro, Ableton or the like. Available in May/July 2009 for around 250 /240 ($ or Euros) - comes with Traktor LE
