Hip Hop Virtual Instrument Upgraded

SONiVOX have announced the release of Playa – Hip Hop Virtual Instrument v1.1, adding new functionality to their virtual instrument designed for quick and easy sequencing, beat construction, and hands-on remixing.
Here's all the details from SONiVOX...
Playa's unique user interface bridges the gap between MPC style beat creation and the computer based virtual instrument environment. Playa allows users to interface their MIDI pad controllers and controller keyboards directly with the software. Producers will enjoy Playa's flexibility, allowing seamless integration with virtually all types of midi devices and sequencing environments.
In addition to Playa's innovative user-interface structure, Playa is packed with a diverse and extensive set of over 400 instruments designed to deliver sonic and stylistic versatility, all recorded and programmed by SONiVOX's award winning sound design team.
New for version 1.1
  • Improved Browser Interface- New browser scrolling function allows users to scroll through instruments direct from the user interface for faster instrument browsing and loading.
  • 'Save Learn' & 'Load Learn' Function- This feature allows Playa users to save and recall multiple controller-pad configurations, as well as assign default controller properties. Now users can save their default controller setup without having to 're-learn.' This feature also adds ease to using Playa with multiple midi controllers.
  • 'Remove Learn (All)' An addition to the existing 'Remove Learn' function, which allows clearing of a a pad's learned midi controller assignment. 'Remove Learn (All)' lets Playa users clear the learned assignments for all pads at once.
  • "Clear Map' & 'Clear Map (All)' These new functions allow Playa users to clear out mapped samples from the currently selected pad ('Clear Map') or all pads at once ('Clear Map (All)') while Playa is in 'Pads' mode.
