Live 8 – Inside Airbase Back

Airbase Official spills the beans 26-May-09

There's a real spike in the amount of videos being posted that take advantage of Ableton's Live 8, and this one from AirbaseOfficial is a cracker, it takes apart his new single Airbase Back track by track. I don't know what sort of computer he's running, but the boy ain't shy for putting plugs across tracks - hasn't he heard of bussing?!

Still the results are what count and this one sounds great, with lots of side-chain usage for that pumping sound.

Here's and excerpt from the finished mix

God, as usual your omnipresence is impressive, you must be so much better than that, perhaps you'd care to post your own great works - I'm sure they are above compare, discounting of course, your creation of everything (including this house producer)

Hm. Although I do not like the music this guy is doing, that's quite the same way that I work with Ableton - yes - loads of Plugins! Looks like Ableton is predetermined for Plugin madness.

I like to have individual control of everything in my tracks and as long as the computer can take it, I see no problem with that :)
