I was on the Faith Guitar stand at the LIMS show where they were introducing their new 'Signature' range of acoustic guitars, designed and monikered by renowned UK luthier, Patrick James Eggle, and the man himself came by as we finished up, so I took the opportunity of switching the camera back on and asking him to tell us a little bit about his own personal range of hand-made acoustic guitars, and some of the thinking behind them.

I've been lucky enough to briefly try out a Faith 'Carolina' - the flagship model from the Faith range, which is designed by him and made in the UK - it's a beautiful guitar, so I was very interested to see what his own range of acoustics was all about... and boy, they didn't disappoint!
They look absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in the flesh... or 'wood', I guess I should say... but Patrick went on to explain some of the engineering challenges behind crafting such an instrument.

Hope you enjoy the video,

Andy Mac
