Jörg Schaaf demonstrates the range of the Radikal Spectralis hybrid synthesizer with his track Autumn Rain.
The Spectralis offers the combination of a powerful subtractive Synthesizer, a pattern based Sequencer optimized for live performance and a sampling DSP synth engine.
About the track, Schaaf notes:
All what you hear comes live from one Spectralis 2 synthesizer recorded simply from the stereo main out. No external FXs were used. Just the two built in digital delays are giving some room and atmosphere. The song gives an impression about the dynamic range of this incredible synth.
Jorg is a genius and has been around for at least 20 years.He had a hand in the quasimidi instruments, especially the much sought after polymorph. He's an original, and thank god for the new spectralis.
