Here's the press release that we have received...
Introducing the launch of a new online sound and drum loop resource, PlugInGuru.com. Geared toward musicians that use virtual instruments, PlugInGuru.com offers affordable, custom-programmed drum loops and new sounds for existing plug-ins, plus other resources that enable musicians of all types to get more from their virtual instruments.
Current products include "PowerPack" collections for Stylus RMX and Native Instruments FM8, plus "BeatTropolis Volumes 1 and 2," two new masterfully programmed drum loop libraries that cover a variety of musical styles. Programmed in the RX2 (Recycle) format, "BeatTropolis Volumes 1 and 2" open in virtually every sequencer platform and today's most powerful rhythm and sample-based plug-ins.
PlugInGuru.com also hosts FREE online video "Power Reviews" which are aimed at helping musicians get the most out of their plug-ins. Current videos include a two-part series for Native Instruments FM8. Plus, the first two parts of a four part series covering Spectrasonics' Stylus RMX, with parts three and four coming soon.
PlugInGuru.com is the brainchild of John "Skippy" Lehmkuhl, perhaps best known as a sound programmer for Korg keyboards as well as the maker of the award-winning drum loop libraries "Skippy's Big Bad Beats" and "Skippy's NoizBox." "My goal with PlugInGuru.com is to give musicians new fuel to get more from their existing software. Who doesn't need fresh, great sounds and loops to inject new life into their music projects? These collections are of high quality and reasonably priced," Lehmkuhl shares.
Lehmkuhl's skillfully developed patches and beats can be heard in over 20 top-selling instruments including the Korg M1, Wavestation and OASYS. You'll also find his formidable sound development on a variety of software-based instruments including Native Instruments Absynth, Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Trilogy and Camel Audio's Alchemy. Lehmkuhl is frequently tapped for his talents as a keyboardist, sound and drum programmer for artists like Boys II Men, Mariah Carey, Harry Gregson-Williams, Fleetwood Mac, Kenny Loggins, The Yellowjackets, and much more.
