"Non-genrefied" record label Ghostly International has joined the ranks of mobile app developers, releasing a free iPhone App that lets you check out all of the label's music.

The app, Ghostly Discovery, is a "mood-based radio station" that features the entire Ghostly International and Spectral Sound catalogues as streaming audio.

Here's how it works:

• Set the MOOD wheel to a color that best reflects your state of mind.
• Set the DIGITAL / ORGANIC and FASTER / SLOWER sliders to suit your taste.

The app then builds a playlist of music to match your preferences. While you're listening, you can also read up on Ghostly's artists, save favorite songs and purchase songs via iTunes integration.

The Ghostly Discover app is a great way for a label to sell music - but it's also an indicator of how much the world of music is changing.

Not only is Ghostly becoming a mobile developer in order to get exposure, but it's letting you listen to all the music it sells, on demand, for free.
