The Latest Version Of The Generative Music Sequencer 16-Oct-09
This video, by Peter McIlwain, demonstrates the latest version of Nodal, a generative sequncer for Mac & PC.
Version 1.5 incorporates many new features requested by users, including full cut, copy and paste functionality, unlimited undo and redo, new MIDI input capabilities and a redesigned user-interface suited to live performance. MIDI operability on the Windows platform has also been dramatically improved.
Nodal is a generative software application, based around the concept of a user-defined graph. The graph consists of nodes (musical events) and edges (connections between events). You interactively define the graph, which is then traversed by any number of "players" who play the musical events as they encounter them on the graph.
Pricing and Availability
Nodal 1.5 will be the first commercial release of the application, and it will retail for $25. Version 1.5 will be released "soon".
