A Sneak Preview Of Lateral View's Moogie 16-Oct-09

This is a video demo of Lateral View's Moogie, an upcoming iPhone software synth, inspired by classic Moog synths:

Moogie is a synthesizer designed for iphone and ipod touch, which can create an almost infinite number of sounds. Consisting of two oscillators, Moogie is inspired by a legendary synth of yesteryear. Their sound can imitate conventional instruments moldable or create entirely new sounds. Features:

  • Waves Types, Square, Triangle, Sawtooh, Osc
  • Glide Rate
  • Octave Selector
  • Scrollable Keys
  • Modulation Module
  • Resonance

yesteryear sound for yesteryear people. If they don“t put in anything more special this will be another 99c case.

Also that "Moogie Oscillator Module Include Open Source Code From MobileSynth developed by Allen Porter" sounds not exactly Moogish.

Open Source Software with a nice frontend.

tough world.

Agreed. The interface is moogish, the sound is more woofish.
