The Beat Kangz Turn The iPhone Into An Urban Beat Machine

The Beat Kangz, the new company behind the new Beat Thang music production workstation, have announced PlayaThang, a beat playback application for the iPhone.

Here's what they have to say about it:

PlayaThang offers simple playback of premixed beats created by The Beat Kangz. PlayaThang lets you mute, solo and change volume for each of the 8 stereo tracks that make up each beat. You can create your own arrangements of the beats on the fly, write or freestyle until you work it out.

I can do far more with SunVox or Thumb. And these also have an identical App for PC/Mac that let me exchange my complete Sessions between both.

iDrum is a better buy. Come on Beat Kangz, I thought you guys were trying to change the game? How about an App that's a mobile version of Virtual Thang? Call it the iThang. ;-)

those are different beasts though. This is a beat player of beats for peeps to rhyme over not a portable music station. I think it hits the mark it was aiming for ;-)
