Free Step Sequencer For Live + Max For Live

Livid Intros LividStep      07/12/09

Livid Instruments has released LividStep, a step sequencer for Ableton Live + Max For Live, as a free download.

Designed to work with the Livid Ohm64 and block controllers in the Max For Live environment, Livid Step provides up to eight tracks of traditional step sequencing, with expanded control over time, step assignments, instrument control, and even improvisation.

The video, above, details the major functions of LividStep, including playback, how to: add and change sequences, control timing, navigate Live, and control instruments, all from the Livid controller.

The second video, below, shows the adjustment needed to make LividStep work with the Livid Block controller and demonstrates the loop recording and playback feature.
