SONIC TALK 165 - LIVE

Yay! Visitors this week - Team Gforce are down in Bath purchasing synthesizers and have popped in to join us. Lashings of tea and biscuits for all.

So, in the studio we have Dave Spiers - co-founder of GForce Software and also Chris (though he's purely an observer and Numbercruncher AKA John - the software engineer behind impOscar 2. On the line we're joined by PJ Tracy emmy winning composer from Minneapolis and also Rich Hilton  producer, engineer and player from Nile Rodger's studio.

First we enjoy the wonderful duet from Dan Wilson's Novachord and Thomas Grillo on Theremin and explore other beautiful comibinations. Then we're on to the new and enigmatic (eg: no one knows much about it) Rhizome VST/performance computer thingy, then we enjoy some real conjecture on the Behringer concept synth Phat 108 and what we would like to see in a new budget polysynth. A quick glance at the Vatican's top 10 albums then we're on to the forthcoming Ivory II piano update and all that it means.
