iPhone Control Of An Alpha Juno

Add A Multi-Touch Controller To Vintage Synths      26/02/10

Buying Choices

This video demonstrates iPhone control of a Roland Alpha Juno.

Here's how it works:

  • The iPhone is running TouchOSC iPhone app
  • This is connected to Puredata on the computer via OSC protocol.
  • A pd patch connects to the Roland Alpha Juno

The process is a bit convoluted at this point - but it demonstrates how you could add a multi-touch controller to any synth with MIDI control.
