Right in the entrance lobby to Hall 5.1 - which was a smart place, as they were out of the mayhem of the main area, and everyone had to pass them as they entered the hall - was the Eigenlabs stand.

Since the day when I was fortunate to be at the official launch at the BBC in London, I've been interested to see what developments they've been making to what is a pretty inspired instrument idea... so I thought I'd wander over and take a look.

My enquiries about further developments to the software GUI were politely fended... but Richard Campbell did give me a quick run-through of the latest addition to the Eigenharp's arsenal of capabilities... the new Visualiser application, developed with Stuart Warren Hill of Hexstatic.

Apparently in the future it'll be possible for the Eigenharp to control lighting and VJ aspects of a live performance too.
Sounds intriguing.
