So when was the last time you knocked over a guitar?
Well, for me it was all too recent... in a prestigious studio in Hollywood... with one of the most famous recording engineer-producers in the business. And it was *his* priceless vintage guitar.
Gulp.
Lucky for me the guitar was unscathed... my blood pressure didn't get off so lightly, though.
So I'm all too mindful of the need to store your precious guitar safely out the way of bumbling cameramen ;-]
And when I saw guitars seemingly stuck invisibly to the walls of a little stand in Hall 4 at the Messe, I was intrigued.
Turns out they weren't screwed or superlued, but were safely... yet removably... held there by a clever little gadget called a Woodies Hanger.
There at the stand was none other than the inventor himself, Colin Woodland, who explained how it'd all come about after a trip to another music show...
