abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz Combines Typography, Biology, Physics & Sound      13/04/10

Buying Choices

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz is an unusually named app for the iPhone, created by media artist Jörg Piringer, that combines typography, biology, physics and sound to create an unique sound toy and performance tool.

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz is a sound toy, a performance tool and an art work in its own right. You can play with the letter-creatures and watch and listen how they interact with each other or use them to produce soundscapes like you would with an electronic musical instrument. abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz blends art, biology, fun and physics to create a unique, dynamic and interactive sound ecology.

Jörg Piringer is a musician, poet and media artist living in vienna, austria. He is a member of the vegetable orchestra and the institute for transacoustic research.

Pricing and Availability

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz is available now for $1.99.
