The Four Stage Compressor consists of four compressors sitting in one chassis using the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release controls. The user has the option to select four different compressors by merely selecting Compressor A, B, C, or D and, adjusting to taste.
Sir Elliot says that the Four Stage Compressor offers a fixed delay in which helps each compressor produce its own characteristics in terms of tone.

• Attack Time: 0 – 300 milliseconds (LCD display will not show lower than 1 millisecond)
• Release Time: 0 – 900 milliseconds (LCD display will not show lower than 3 milliseconds)
• Ratio: 0 – 16:1
• Threshold: 0 to –200 dB
• Compressor: Four-user-select independent compressors sharing the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, & Release control
