Celine Dion is America's favorite musician, according to a new Harris Poll, beating out U2, The Beatles and Elvis for the top spot.

U2 took the second place spot, while Elvis Presley and The Beatles tied for third place.

• Alan Jackson 
• Frank Sinatra 

Harris found that musical preferences among Americans varied widely, based on things like gender, politics and location.

Celine Dion was tops for women, while men prefered U2. Among Conservatives, U2 was the favorite, while Independents liked The Beatles. And Easterners love Celine Dion, Midwesterners Tim McGraw and Westerners U2.
