Soundation Studio, the web based music making application has just had a sample player, SAM-1, added to it's increasing arsenal of online virtual instruments and sound tools. Here's all the details from PowerFX...

SAM-1 comes with 5 instruments: an acoustic piano, a house piano, an electric piano and 2 organs. Like the sequencer and included loop library, SAM-1 is free and more instruments for purchase are planned.
"SAM-1 is another milestone for online music making", says CEO Bil Bryant. "To have an assortment of virtual instruments available in your browser is an amazing advancement. To provide anyone who has ever wanted to make digital music the possibility with many of the tools that professional programs offer is our mission. We have only been out of beta for 2 months and in May we had over 50,000 users on Soundation.com from all over the world. We are very excited about the response we are receiving and feedback we are getting from our users."
Soundation Studio is developed by PowerFX, the first company to sell downloadable loops and samples and is now selling sounds directly in Soundation Studio to augment user options. With over 100,000 loops, samples and sound effects in the PowerFX library, Soundation users will soon have a few sounds to mull over.
