This official Moog Music video highlights how you can use an Apple iPad to control a Little Phatty synthesizer and use the combination to open up new performance options.

Moog associate Ben Hovey demonstrates his setup:

  • Gestures are captures on the iPad running TouchOSC, with Hovey's custom template;
  • The resulting signals are sent wirelessly to the laptop;
  • The laptop is connected to the MIDI in of the Little Phatty.

Hovey's setup introduces new options for controlling the Little Phatty, such as touchscreen control of an X-Y filter controller.
