The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A) has announced a new Space Rock program, which offers musicians a chance to write a song to wake up the astronauts.

Here's what they have to say about the program:

Submit your original song by January 10, 2011.

Entries will be screened by our NASA panel. The top entries will then be posted on this website for a public vote starting on February 8, 2011.

The two songs with the most votes will be announced and played during the STS-134 mission, scheduled to launch on February 26, 2011.

See the N.A.S.A site for details.
