BPM10: Numark MixTrack and MixTrack Pro

A quick shifty at the new DJ controlers      05/10/10

More new products from the BPM show from Numark - with the Mixtrack and Mixtrack Pro DJ control surface and surface with built in audio interface (Mixtrack Pro), replacing the Total Control. .

We published the story a couple of days ago, when Numark told us it was coming, and judging by its popularity, Numark may well have got this right.

Both units come with Numark's own  software but are compatible out of the box with Native Instrument's Traktor, Virtual DJ and PC DJ. Of course, other packages can be controlled using regular MIDI mapping.

The pricing makes this an attractive product for those just getting started in the computer- based DJ field, with the Mixtrack at £129 and the Mixtrack Pro at  around (TBC)  £200.

Who in the HELL put the master volume fader in the middle of the channel faders? They almost got it perfect. ALMOST.
