At the UK's recent BPM DJ Show, Dubstep was blasting out from everywhere, its 140bpm half-time beat is on the rise on the UK club scene. In the US Dubstep is also on the up, with the LA Smog club nights regularly packing out venues. 12th Planet is one of the biggest DJs on that scene, as well as being a sought-after producer and remixer - his unique brand of electro flavoured dubstep is reaching a wider audience with some cracking remixes for Jinder (Youth Blood), Rusko (Hold On) and others.

His rising profile meant that he was recently approached to work on a  collaborative project on ThePublicRecord.com which was hugely successful.

On the eve of a DJ tour and after a heavy stint in the studio with Kastle and Flinch, we caught up with 12th Planet.
