I think it reel machines more will honor simmons if the program had more resources and sounds of sds 5, sds 8 or 9 , in programme premade Is my opinion sorry for my english, I speak spanish regards !
I have reel machines ,is good ,but I think that Sound kit is poor , ¡this could include the sound kits sd5 sd9 y others , I think the sound arrangements in the software to snare and toms, mainly , this not enough to make different sounds of the simmons sds more the others kits(sds 8-9) and others.I think the waldorf vst has more variety and properties sds5 Simmons and the kits others, is clearly no has FX, but has more editing.

The sounds are amazing! The tape saturation, the acoustic space and the plate reverb really make a huge difference.
I think you're missing the point here. This AD-Pack is not about real drum sounds. It's about the Linndrum and SDS. All they had to do was sample the original sounds, it's that simple.
Did you really expect they'll be similar? The technology of electronic processing drums is still not that good to emulate some real snare drums (although i assume for Addictive Drums purposes they recorded some real snares instead of synthesizing them)
as you can hear in this track by Current Value it's all about proper processing them - he's the master of electronic percussion. If you search for fully-ready to used drums then you probably won't even find them (the good ones i mean...)

I was so eager to try out this new ADpak that I bought it within an hour of my first post. It's fantastic, has so many options for cool kits, and really sounds great! I will get lots of use out of it.

When I bought AD many months ago, I thought for a minute wouldn't it be great it they release an ADpak with Simmons drums in the near future? This is well worth the price for the Simmons drums alone!! Great job guys. I'll be picking this up later today.
