Tonehammer has unleashed Phonehammer - a free virtual instrument based on toy phones.

Tonehammer says:

The toy phone has a very distinct "ring tone" and can actually serve a great instrument in electronica. Its 4bit sound is unique and has that special low-fi bite you can only get from 9$ quality speakers. We also decided to create some more cinematic ambient drones, which are also featured in the library and in the beginning of the demo.

You can preview Phonehammer above.
