Elektron announce new film, product page and pre-orders      20/12/10
Elektron tell us that the Octatrack product page has been updated and that you can now download tech specs, read the FAQ and listen to audio demos.

On Monday the 20th of December at 8.00 CET Elektron will start taking pre-orders from the general public.

Here's what Elektron say about the Octatrack DPS-1:

The Octatrack DPS-1 is a 8 track dynamic performance sampler. The Octatrack is ideal for radical audio processing and performance oriented sampling. Every track features real-time pitch scaling & time stretch and the next generation Elektron step sequencer has been designed with maximum usability and efficiency in mind.

So far the only thing compelling about this product has been the advertisements.

Not a singe product demonstration on Elektron's website has been the least bit fascinating.

Based on the viewer comments over at YouTube, Elektron should have spent the Octatrack development money on a cheesy horror flick. The advert seems to be generating more enthusiasm than the product being sold.
