We met Jorma, the president of Big Island Ukelele on the shuttle bus from the airport. His company are responsible for much of the Koa wood that is supplied for use in making guitars and Ukeleles. It would have been rude not to have droppd by his booth to say hi and have a quick chat. Unfortunately, the basist next door chose that moment for rampant solo which does rather mask the lovely sound of his premium instruments. Check 'em out at
