Martin Lüders has released a beta version of a new VSTi inspired by the JX-8P. Here's what he has to say about pg8x...
This VST is still under development, and some features might not be working at this time. Please, use it at your own risk, and feel free to provide any feedback, bug reports or suggestions.

  • Hard Sync and Ring Modulation
  • Two exponential envelop generators
  • 24 dB resonant LP filter
  • HP filter (3 stages)

can't be 100% sure, but on my laptop speakers it sounds damn close to my JX8P, i will test it tomorrow at the studio near the real thing

tested it, I'm really impressed, it's damn close to the real thing...it's not 100% there but closer to the JX8P than most of the other emulations of synths I've heard.
